The Matthias Family > The service was held at a small lake just a few blocks from our home.  Although the sun was bright, the water was very cold!

The Matthias Family > On the last Sunday in August, our church in Kiev held an outdoor baptism service for the new members of the congregation.  The men in front are the "brothers" or elders of the church with Pastor Boris, also in white.
The Matthias Family > The grocery store in our new neighborhood.  It is always neat, clean and well stocked with all the neccessities.  It is located directly in front of the guest apartment and only about a 2 minute walk from our front door!

The Matthias Family > A "marshruitka," our most common form of transportation for getting around the city.  During rush hour, they are often so full that not another person can squeeze in the door!
