The Matthias Family > One of the fun events at the conference was the Family Games. There were many exciting and silly games! Here, of course, Corrie Mae is jumping along in the sack race!
The Matthias Family > This is a photo of our entire SEND International Eurasia team! Our missionaries travelled from Russia, Ukraine and Kahzakstan for our tri-ennial conference. We met together at Brake Bible College in Lemgo, Germany (near Hanover) for one week.
The Matthias Family > Caleb enjoyed making a new friend at the conference. He met another Caleb, Caleb Hayen. he lives in Krasnayarsk, Siberia where his dad teaches at a Bible College. He hugged him hard and didn't want to let go!
The Matthias Family > At the conference, we also enjoyed playing games and spending time together with some friends we have not for over 2 years. Here we are playing our family's new favorite game "Settlers of Cataan."
The Matthias Family > We enjoyed wonderful teaching from God's Word, highlighting the life of Jeremiah and challenging us to trust God to accomplish what we cannot do in our own strength. Our speaker, Brent Slater, worked for nearly 20 years as a missionary in the war-torn country of Uganda. We also heard reports from our missionaries working in various cities within Ukraine, as well as across Russia and in Kahzakstan.
