The Matthias Family > In Independence Square, during the hot summer, the city turns on a huge set of fountains, and people gather to cool off. It is also a very popular place for children and photographers. Here, Corrie Mae dances among the fountains, singing and jumping!

The Matthias Family > Of course, when the police department of Ukraine passed by, the cheering of the crowd was jubilant. These two young women were especially excited, shouting and singing along with the music, waving their country’s flag and wearing the colors of Ukraine on their heads.
The Matthias Family > While downtown that day, we happened on a parade of law enforcement services from many countries throughout Europe. There was the typical wailing of sirens, parade of various police vehicles, and of course, marching bands. This is the marching band representing Ukraine.
